THERMAL INSULATION AND MOISTURE PROTECTION OF INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR WALLS IN STENIMACHOU, THERMI

Energy upgrade of apartments in Thermi, Thessaloniki, with the construction of conventional lightweight thermal insulation on the roof of the last apartment. This includes the use of expanded polystyrene with a thickness of 100mm, application of double glass fiber mesh with reinforced cementitious render for thermal insulation in two phases, and two layers of polyurethane liquid membrane HYPERDESMO, followed by the application of polyurethane varnish. Additionally, perimeter walls of the roof and the termination of the staircase were waterproofed. (SEERT) was applied to the side walls of the building using graphite-expanded polystyrene “NEOPOR” with a thickness of 80mm.
